So, many apologies to my friend, things have kept me away from getting this colored as I said in the previous deviation, so I'm glad I got this out of the way.

The way her original work was composed was rather difficult to attain, so I did a bird's eye view instead. I think it was due to no table for Betty and Azariel to drink at, which gave me the idea to add one.

This piece was actually helped with some reference from a few pieces by Norman Rockwell.

Also, I didn't mean to make Azariel's skin so yellow. I tried to make the characters have their right skin tones and such, but with the pencil marks bothering my coloring, I had to do some over coloring on the skin. Which is why Betty's skin is very soft and paler than usual compared to Violetta's art.

Gilberto seems much younger than I planned in my style, but I tried to make him as fat and bulky as Violetta's, so I guess I didn't change him too much except for the blond eyebrows. In Violetta's designs for Gil, his eyebrows are black. I'm not sure why I decided to make them blond like his upper hair, except that I wanted to give him something natural.

One addition to this request that I actually impacted on even before Violetta could tell me was Ursula. Since I noticed that one of her villains wasn't in the original, I thought it would update the image more into what she's planning.

As for what Ludvavico and Ursula are doing, I'm just as confused as Gilberto is. Maybe Ludvavico is playing a stealth game with Ursula to make her mentally attune with future events, similar to Pat Morita in the Karate Kid. Like I said to someone else about my art, it's up to interpretation, so you can give a story to this if you want.

One more thing, I really had trouble with Ludvavico's eye. I wasn't sure if it was bright or dark brown, which when coloring, he seemed rather demonic with the palette I copied from the original and villain line-up piece.
