Ruth Powers Art Jam.

just felt like doing a art jam, so it felt like a obligation for me to try Ruth again since I haven't drawn her in a while, and I wanted to try Lauren as well.

This is what she stated:
I would love to see everyone's interpretation of Ruth Powers! Do you see her as a wee bit insane? Maybe she's apprehensive in crowds? Your choice!

I considered Ruth to be a mother figure who wants to see Lauren be above what she should have done with her life. I consider the bond between her and her daughter wonderfully done and quite heartwarming that it was actually close to home with what I drew here.

The reason I added lapels to Lauren's jacket was due to 's interpretation of her, that I liked the design's addition.

Some things worked better than others, such as the cloths both worked with a xor layer and didn't. First time working with xor actually so I hope no one scolds me how its drawing more attention than the actual subjects. Same goes for the vase, which is the actual problem than the clothes in laundry basket.

The spaghetti they're eating from is actually based off the meal i was eating when I was penciling it in. I asked my parents to take me to my favorite fast food Italian restaurant, Vince, since I like the taste of the sauce and their breadsticks.
